Hi there! Have you ever go to any manicure and pedicure for pampering your nails? I guess it is girls favourite activity with their bff (bestfriend forever). They like to clean and design their nails because girls cant be separate with beauty! Manicure can be a place for girls to express their problem or any conflict and usually the staff will entertain them and will give advice for their problem. Okayyyyy now the main topic is now I want to share information about how your nails reflect about your health.

Even the growth rate of your nails may give clues about your underlying health. Healthy nails grow, on average 3.5 millimeters (mm) a month, but this is influenced by your nutritional status, medications, trauma, chronic disease, and the aging process itself.

There are 5 nails symptoms you might experience in your life and ehat they mean for your health

1) Yellow nails

Because you're aging naturally and sometimes due to nails lacquers or acrylic nails. If you often wear acrylic nails try taking a break from designing your nails until its recover. Moreover, it usually happen to a smoker because smoking is one of the reasons why you experience yellow nails. Yellow nails may be related to thyroid disease, diabetes, psoriasis, or respiratory disease

2) Dry, cracked or brittle nails

This could be from swimming, overuse of nail polish remover, frequent dishwashing without gloves, or just from living in a low-humidity environment. Cracking and splitting can also be caused by a fungal infection or thyroid disease, particularly hypothyroidism. Brittle nails may also be due to a deficiency in vitamins A and C or the B vitamin biotin.

3) White spots

Small white spots on your nails are usually the result of nail trauma. They're not cause for concern and will fade or grow out on their own. Less commonly, white spots that do not go away could be due to a fungal infection.

4) Dark Discolouration

Black streaks or painful growths on your nail warrant an immediate trip to your physician, as they may be due to melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer.

5) White nails with a strip of pink

If your nails are mostly white with a narrow pink strip at the top, known as Terry's nails, it could be a sign of liver disease, congestive heart failure, kidney failure, or diabetes. Sometimes Terry's nails may also be due to aging.
